On the estate

If you would rather leave the cooking to someone else, local catering or a private chef can be arranged. It is an easy way to gather around the table and enjoy the evening without having to think about the kitchen.

Enjoy a relaxed meal outdoors on our plancha brasero in the dining area, or cook over an open flame on the grill at the fire bowl.

Rond het landgoed liggen verschillende informele paden voor korte wandelingen langs de rivier, door het bos en over open terrein. Voor een langere wandeling leidt het achterste pad naar een rustige landweg richting La Moncelle en Daigny, waar u een lus door het omliggende landschap kunt maken. In de zomer, wanneer de rivier laag staat, kunt u waterschoenen aantrekken en te voet de ondiepe stukken verkennen.

A number of informal paths around the property offer short walks beside the river, through woodland and across open ground. For a longer walk, the rear trail leads onto a quiet country road towards La Moncelle and Daigny, where you can continue on a loop through the surrounding countryside. In summer, when the river is low, put on your water shoes and explore the shallows on foot.

In nature

Kayaking - Rent kayaks less than 15 minutes from La Ramorie and enjoy a peaceful escape on the water.

More than 400 km of walking trails wind through the surrounding countryside. Some trailheads are just a six-minute drive from La Ramorie, while others lie 20 to 30 minutes away. Routes range from gentle walks to more challenging hikes, with something to suit almost every pace.

Zoo - A nearby zoo offers children the chance to discover local wildlife up close.

Horseback Riding - Horses can be hired for adults and children alike, for rides along the local trails from a nearby ranch.

Archery - A local archery club near Givonne welcomes newcomers to try the sport in a relaxed, informal setting.

Adventure Course - A treetop adventure park near Givonne offers rope bridges, zip lines, and aerial courses for all ages.

First Flight - A local flying club in Sedan offers first-time flights in a small aircraft, with a pilot alongside for the experience.

Electric Boating - A licence-free electric boat can be hired by the hour on the Meuse, drifting quietly past riverside villages and wooded banks. This is a seasonal activity — best to check availability before planning your visit.

Golf - An 18-hole golf course is located nearby, between Sedan and Charleville-Mézières.
